Dear member,
We have had a spectacular year of growth as we put covid mostly in a rearview mirror and look forward to the future. We had a 36% increase in attendance and a 26% increase in our Sunday Service YouTube views. We managed to end the year under budget. And we are in full swing for 2024.
In accordance with our bylaws, the 9th Annual Members Meeting of Unity Spiritual Center of Lansing will be held on Sunday, March 10th at noon, followed by a potluck. You can attend the meeting in person or by Zoom.
You will find a new header section on our 
website for easy access to all the documents which will interest members – minutes of last year’s annual meeting, bylaws, membership renewal forms and more.
A reminder that this year, under our new bylaws, you have until the start of the annual meeting to renew your membership. This can be done online.
Enclosed is a draft agenda for the meeting. You will be asked to vote on the 2024 Budget, elect members to your Board of Trustees as well as elect your congregational representative and alternative representative for the 2025 nominating team.
The meeting is open to everyone, but only current members can vote.

2024 SLATE of NOMINEES FOR THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Presented by the 2024 Nominating Team of Chair and Congregational Alternative Rep Maggie Bishop, Congregational Greg Dening, Board Rep Jill Dening and Minister Rev. Sharon Ketchum
Chrissie Shearer
Chrissie has completed a 3-year term, currently serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees and is running for her second term of service. Chrissie is active with special events, and behind the scenes work and planning. As a lobbyist for health care, Chrissie is skilled in the workings of government, effective meetings and teamwork. One of her passions is her wonderful variety of animals with whom she shares her home. Chrissie has been a member for 7 years.
Jane Cloos
Jane has completed a 3-year term, currently serves as the Treasurer of the Board of Trustees and is running for her second term of service. Jane, an accountant, is a member of our administrative team and works closely with our Office Manager to develop best practices in our accounting system. She is our virtual host for YouTube viewers for Sunday services. She loves spending time with her husband Chad, the family dog, and the grandchildren. Jane has been a member for over 30 years.
